Reason 34

In Highschool, I was a floater, aimlessly jumping from group to group and back. I had friends but did not belong to any particular group. Then I met Kim, highschool didn't feel so aimless anymore.

She was the Hostile to my Havoc and we were rabble rousers in the most comic of ways. We would drive around getting up to innocent mischief and laugh until we couldn't stand. There is nothing we wouldn't do because together nothing could embarrass us.

We were nearly kicked out of Harry Potter and the Deathy Hollows II for laughing at the most inappropriate time. You know the part where Harry semi-dies and everything is white so that the theatre is brightly lit to see everyone in the audience? Well just before that Volemort definitely yells "AAABAAADUH!" not "Avada Kedavra". We both heard it, we could read each other's mind and we laughed relentlessly for the rest of the movie. Every time one of us started to calm down, the sound of the other laughing reignited our giggles. To this day, the random thought of "AABAAADUH!" will still make me laugh so hard I spit my drink out.

She used to serenade me in her special voice and change the lyrics of "Hey Mickey" to "Hey Nickey". No matter how many times she did this, I wouldn't be able to not laugh. We made up code names for everyone and you knew who we liked and didn't like based on the quality of their code names (Ginger Bitch). I lost count of how many nights she was there to hold my hair back and threaten to beat my dumbass boyfriends for being stupid. If I ever needed to hide a body she would be my go to; no questions asked.

When I was a teen I hated highschool so much, I could not wait to leave. Now whenever Kim reminds me of toilet papering houses, glitter bombs, truck tobogganing or any other general trouble we would cause; I have the most intense desire to relive highschool so that I can relieve those highs. I can not wait to hug her again and see what adult debautchy we will get ourself into.

That is why I keep living. Because I am loved. Because I love her too much to let her live a life without me.
